Oslo: 92 killed in terror attack against multiculturalism

When I saw the news about the bombing in Oslo, there was no doubt in my mind this was Islamic terrorism. Norway doesn't lack stories about foiled attempts at such terrorism. But when reports started coming in of shooting in a Labour Party youth summer camp, I began to have doubts.. Norwegian PM Jens Stoltenberg is the leader of the Labour Party and this was looking more like an attack against the Labour Party then against Norway.

Via Reuters:
The Norwegian charged with killing at least 92 people in a gun and bomb massacre had belonged to an anti-immigration party and wrote blogs attacking multiculturalism and Islam.

Police said Anders Behring Breivik, detained by police after 85 people were gunned down at a youth camp and another 7 killed in a bomb attack on Friday, was unknown to them and his Internet activity traced so far included no calls to violence.

In comments from 2009-2010 to other people's articles on website Document.no, which calls itself critical of Islam, Breivik criticized European policies of trying to accommodate the cultures of different ethnic groups.

UPDATE:

According to the Expo foundation Anders Behring Breivik was active on the Swedish neo-Nazi forum 'Nordisk'.

The Norwegian Freedom Party (Frp) confirms that the terrorist was a member of the party (1999-2006) and its youth wing (Fpu), and had worked for Fpu for several years (2002-2004).

It took police an hour and a half from the time reports started coming in of shooting in Utøya (5:02pm), and until they arrested Breivik (6:35pm).

According to one expert, the bomb which exploded in Oslo was at least 500 kg. Breivik bought 6 tons of fertilizer (EN) through his company, Breivik Geofarm, in May.
