Netherlands: Woman set on fire
A woman died Monday in Zeist (Utrecht province) after she was set afire. According to police this happened around 5:30pm in Vollenhove.
After getting called in, the agents found a seriously burned woman. She was brought to a hospital with a trauma helicopter, where she died later that evening.
The police are investigating and are looking for witnesses.
It is not yet known who killed the woman. The police are taking every option into account, including honor murder. According to the AD the victim came from Afghanistan and was about to get married.
The woman was living with her husband, since they were already married according to Muslim law.
