Al-Qaeda in Iraq directed the terror cell in Odense and wanted to liquidate the agent who infiltrated the group for the Danish Security Intelligence Service. This according to agent Lars' testimony, who for the first time gave evidence in court, under massive police protection.
The suspect AK had gone to Iraq to commit an attack against the Americans, but he was sent home again but by the people of the (now deceased) Al-Qaeda leader Abu Musaf al-Zarqawi, with instructions to do something "at home".
AK told the agent that the potential target for a bomb was the parliament, a political meeting for supporting the Iraq was or a people filled town hall square.
