During the riots in Denmark last month the justice minister Lene Espersen said that kids as young as ten were responsible for the riots. However, the youngest person held by police was thirteen.
In an answer in the Danish parliament, Espersen explained that the police felt the kids were much younger.
Of the 133 people held, 8 were 13 years old, 11 were 14 years old and 22 were 15 years old. The oldest arrested was 47 years old.
Eighty of the 133 had been previously arrested by the police.
