Two Georgians were shot dead near Heppenheim in January, a third had his throat slit. One of the suspects is an Iraqi who worked as an informant for the Rhineland-Palatinate state police. The Georgians came to Germany in order to buy second hand cars. The Iraqis were going to help them. Later Ahmed H. also entered the car. According to judicial authorities H. comes from the Islamic circles and had collected money for Jihad in the past.
When they reached their destination there was a religious fight, possibly due to the crosses worn by the Georgians. Then three other armed men appeared. The Georgians were called "Christian swine", according to the testimony of one of the suspects. Two Georgians were made to lie down and were shot dead. The third was taken to an imam in order to 'slaughter' him.
One of the detectives investigating this case says: If this story is right, it would be the first time that people were murdered in Germany because they are Christian.
The big sum of money that the Georgians had with them for their purchase has disappeared.
