Amsterdam: Antisemitism in anti-Israel protests

What is a peaceful protest?

Update:

A story sent by email: An Israeli-Moroccan who passed by the same demonstration says that the Moroccans continuously shouted in Arabic "Death to the Jews", while those Dutch present didn't even notice.

It seems to me that the so-called 'peace organizations' are not even realizing how much they're inflaming the atmosphere by organizing these demonstrations.

-----------

Shouting "Intifada, Intifada, free Palestine", Dutch parliament member Harry van Bommel marched in the anti-Israel demonstration in Amsterdam this past Saturday.

Other slogans shouted (in the video): "In blood we will liberate Palestine" "Allah Akbar", "Hamas, Jihad, Hizbullah" (all Arabic) and "Jews, Jews to the gas" (Dutch). The last one was shouted over Van Bommel's shoulder while he was busy calling for an intifada.

Elsewhere in the protest, a woman carrying a sign saying that "Israel is repeating the Holocaust with support of the Netherlands" was arrested by the police for inciting to hate and discrimination. Another man was arrested for incitement.

A police spokesperson says that after the arrests the demonstration continued on in an orderly manner. The only incident was when they confiscated an Israeli flag from a person who stood with it in the crowd. He was quickly removed.

The demonstration was organized by 25 organizations, including the Nederlands Palestina Komitee, International Socialists, Milli Gorus Nederland, The Council of Dutch Moroccan Mosques and Een Ander Joods Geluid (A Different Jewish Voice).

The protesters marched carried signs saying "Israel burn in hell" and "Israel out of Palestine".
