Netherlands: Muslims help artist neighbors
The Moroccan Islamic association in Deventer, Netherlands, has set aside storage room in order to help people affected by the large fire in the De Plataan complex.
In the fire Wednesday night, a large number of art studios burned down. The prayer room of the Moroccans in the complex miraculously remained almost undamaged. In order to support the artists, time was also devoted during the Friday prayers of the Muslims to the consequences of the fire.
