Muslims working in the TNT (mail company) sorting center in Nieuwegein are upset about the eating rules. The new Ramadan rules appeared earlier this month on the bulletin board: no praying during work and enforced breaks at set times.
For the evening shift, that's 8pm, an hour before the end of fasting. A worker told AD regarding his boss, "He says: fasting is your choice, your problem. Pure Wilders scenes."
TNT says it is a misunderstanding and it is possible to consult with management on whether it's possible to go eat.
