Denmark: Danes prefer multiculturalism, reject assimilation
Translated from Kristeligt Dagblad:
A new Gallup poll shows that Danes prefer a multicultural society and that only a few want assimilation, reports Berlingske.
According to the poll: 58% of voters agree with new integration minister Søren Pind that multiculturalism pushed back Danish culture. Nearly half think that Islam gets too much consideration.
But a majority of 54% say that they still prefer a multicultural society to a mono-cultural one. 60% of Danes support integrating foreigners while 29% want them to assimilate.
