The Norwegian Centre against Racism in Norway organized a Tea Time campaign last week, in which Muslims invited non-Muslims over for tea. The goal of the campaign was to enable Norwegians to meet Muslims and get a broader perspective of them then they can through the media. Statistics show that most ethnic Norwegians do not have immigrant friends, and this shows the importance of meeting and talking.
Queen Sonja and Crown Princess Mette-Marit participated in the event, and were hosted by the Iranian Adampour family in Grünerløkka, Oslo. After the visit Crown Princess Mette-Marit reported by twitter: We talked about the importance of showing openness to other's beliefs and understanding that no one is morally superior to others, regardless of belief.
