Paris: Prayer in the streets
Secularist paper Riposte Laïque reports (FR) about two streets in the 18th arrondissement of Paris which are closed down on Friday for a couple of hours as Muslims pray out in the street. Residents are 'locked down' during those times. There is a mosque at both the Rue Myrha and Rue Polonceau. The city has promised the Muslims a new and bigger mosque to prevent the spectacle of Muslims praying in the street.
