France: Starbucks removes controversial poster

Via le Nouvel Obs and Reuters (French, h/t Islam vs. Europe):

Starbucks in France removed a controversial poster used in their campaign to increase awareness of pickpockets. The poster is part of a series warning clients to keep on eye on their belongings. The controversial poster features a North-African man while another poster features a White woman.

SOS Racisme claimed the poster depicted North-Africans as thieves. Starbucks claimed both posters depicted clients, but finally bowed to the pressure and removed the poster.

So who's really the racist in this story?
