About 100 people were arrested in the Brussels suburb of Anderlecht on Friday, according to mayor Gaëtan Van Goidsenhoven. There were no incidents.
Most of those arrested were minors and a large number had come from outside the town. A number had been arrested last Friday as well during the riots. A majority had knives and such weapons. The police also found two molotov cocktails.
In various places in Anderlecht groups of about 20 people congregated, intending to march towards the center of town, but met up with the police. The police will stay vigilant throughout the weekend.
