Norway: New Salman Rushdie

Kurdish Mariwan Halabjaee wrote a book on women's position in Islam. Now he is on the run, and lives in hiding at a secret location in Norway.

"I have received death threats, and know that a certain person who lives in Norway is looking for me. I'm afraid that he he's on commission from Islamic groups to find out where I am," says the Kurdish author from Northern Iraq to bt.no.

Halabjaee received asylum in Norway in August.

In his recent book he wrote among other things that the prophet Mohamed had 19 wives, that he raped and killed people.

Stuck Mojo Open Season (Sex, Sharia Remix) Music Video, the first music video to include the entire contents of an Islamically suppressed book.

Remix and extended version of the music video for the Stuck Mojo song "Open Season," dedicated to Mariwan Halabjaee,* "the Salman Rushdie of Iraqi-Kurdistan." Mr. Halabjaee is the author of the book "Sex, Sharia and Women in the History of Islam." He was forced to flee Iraqi-Kurdistan and obtain political asylum in Norway because the Islamic League of Kurdistan issued a fatwa to kill him, and the Kurdistan Regional Government refused to offer him protection or to arrest those who threatened his life.

I thought you would want to know that there is a new "Sex, Sharia remix" music video. The book "Sex, Sharia and Women in the History of Islam" has now been published as a remix and extended Alice Cooper music video:
