Copenhagen: A visiting terrorist

Hodja's Blog points out that one of the participants in the Palestinian gathering this past Saturday in Copenhagen is a former terrorist. Leila Khalid is listed as "Palestinian nationalist leader" in the program.

From Wikipedia:
Leila Khalid is a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), part of the secular, leftwing Palestinian Rejectionist Front. She is currently a member of the Palestinian National Council.

Khaled came to public attention for her role in a 1969 hijacking and one of four simultaneous hijackings the following year as part of the Black September timeline.

I'm just not sure there is any Palestinian nationalist leader who did not actively take part in terror attacks. Arafat was hosted by world leaders and was awarded the Nobel peace prize.

It's also worth noting that though the conference is touted for its many Muslim Brotherhood participants, Khalid actually represents a branch of Palestinian politics who do not want an Islamic state.

Somebody who is fighting for an Islamic state is Shaykh Raid Salah. He is listed as 'President, Islamic Movement 1948 Palestine'. For anybody concerned about whether this conference was really about a state for the Palestinians, or about a non-state for the Jews, this is of course another way of saying 'Israel'.
