Yasmina El Messaoudi (24) will debut Sunday Feb. 10th as anchorwoman for tvbrussel. El Massoudi is the first employee of Moroccan origin to work as a program presenter at the Brussels regional broadcaster. El Massoudi has worked for tvbrussel since 2004 for the youth magazine Bende van Brussel and as a substitute presenter for the week overview.
Since 2006 she's also been working at radio FM Brussl and is working as editor for the weekly Libelle. Tvbrussel says that now she will be joining the journalist team on a regular basis and become one of the faces on the screen for the broadcaster.
Chief editor Jan De Troyer says that with Yasmina tvbrussel wants to go further in making an impact. The broadcaster already has a show produced by Moroccan Brussels residents. TV brussels wishes after all to address all Brussels residents.
