According to a study by Université Libre de Bruxelles immigrant pupils always do worse that Belgian pupils, even eliminating the problems of the socio-economic factor, the home language and education type. According to the study there is really a problem by immigrant students. The lack of interaction between parent and teachers is one example of it. Belgium still has a way to go in the democratizing of the education system.
